Earn an Associate
of Applied Science Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts to prepare you for a fulfilling career
as a chef in a resort, restaurant or cruise ship. This rigorous program allows students the
opportunity to learn classical cooking methods and various aspects of food preparation, including
nutrition and sanitation. Under the leadership of our professional instructors, you can develop
your own style and showcase your originality.
Graduates of the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Program should be able to demonstrate proficiency
in both front- and back-of-the-house operations. Upon successful completion of an externship in
a professional environment and all coursework, students earn their degree and can be prepared for
careers as cooks, apprentice chefs, or kitchen managers.
Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Training
Texas Culinary Academy offers two types of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Programs through which
students can learn both classic techniques and modern applications in a creative, professional
environment.
Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie & Baking Program
Choose the Le Cordon Bleu Pâisserie & Baking Program for the culinary training necessary to
succeed as a pastry chef or baker. Our program is taught in professional classrooms designed to
simulate real-world restaurants. As a graduate, you can be prepared for entry-level opportunities
as a baker, pastry chef, first-line supervisor in a bakery, chocolatier or confectioner.
Throughout this program, students can learn to prepare custards, laminated dough products,
flatbreads, meringues, sugar decorations, brioche doughs, mousses and soufflés, among many others.
